Scanna launches new portable x-ray system at DSEI

SCANNA MSC Ltd is delighted to announce the launch of a new version of its successful SCANWEDGE Portable X RAY System at the DSEI Exhibition on 15-18 Sept 2015.

SCANWEDGE ULTRA is a ruggedized, portable X-RAY System which has applications in Improvised Explosive Device Detection and Disposal, Border Security and Specialist Search Operations. Compared with earlier models SCANWEDGE ULTRA has an improved (high resolution) image quality which allows for even clearer object discrimination. Its flat panel configuration also makes it easier to deploy at the target area to be investigated. The portability of SCANWEDGE and excellent image quality has made SCANWEDGE a popular choice with Bomb Disposal and Search teams throughout the World and its customers include NATO Forces and Police Search teams.

SCANNA Sales and Marketing Director Paul Taylor comments: " SCANWEDGE  has been a popular x-ray system for Bomb Disposal and Specialist Search Teams for a number of years.  Operators are keen on both its portability and also its rugged design so that it can be used in demanding and difficult terrains.  SCANWEDGE ULTRA has an updated design but also features a new camera system which produces clear, high resolution x-ray images to identify hidden and concealed threats."
