Innovative gas meter from Siargo

Turbine and diaphragm gas meters have traditionally dominated the gas metering market but with integrated MEMS sensors the MFGD from Siargo has inherent advantages over these technologies, available exclusively in the UK from us.

Specially designed for natural gas metering, the MFGD substantially reduces the metering accuracy losses caused by temperature and pressure variations in the system, as they compensate electronically for this volumetric expansion using the world’s leading, patented MEMS technology. Other advantages include; the lowest pressure drop in class, low power use and a replaceable battery.

As standard the MFGD includes a pulse output and RS232 for remote data logging capabilities and BMS integration. The large integrated data logging memory allows for easy historical download and analysis. The meter is available in aluminium with BSP threaded connections and comes in sizes DN32 to DN80 with a flow range of 0.1 to 500 Nm3/hr, ideal for light industrial gas measurement applications.
