KONE in the top 50 of the Forbes'' list of the World''s Most Innovative Companies

KONE, a global leader in the lift/elevator, escalator and moving walkway industry, has been ranked 48th on the list of the world''s top 100 most innovative companies by the business magazine Forbes.

Featured on the list for the fifth year in a row, KONE ranks as the 5th most innovative company in Europe.

The technology will be used  in Saudi Arabia''s Kingdom Tower expected to be the world''s tallest building with a height rising over one kilometer once completed. Another innovation highlight is the KONE family of People Flow Intelligence solutions, which makes navigation through buildings ever smoother and smarter.

Forbes magazine''s ranking is based on a metric called the "Innovation Premium": the difference between their market capitalization and a net present value of cash flows from existing businesses.
