Low-cost, low-maintenance level switch

The Minicap FTC260/262 is an easy-to-install, low-cost capacitance level switch that requires no calibration or commissioning.

It’s suitable for measuring the level in silos of powdery and fine-grained bulk solids, such as grain, flour or powdered milk and, as it comes with ATEX approval, can be used in explosive atmospheres (ATEX II 1/3 D). As the device has no moving parts there is no wear and a long service life is guaranteed.

The FTC260 is a fixed length device with an insertion length of 140mm whilst the FTC262 is an extendable rope version (up to six metres). The Minicap FTC260/262 is particularly suited to applications with heavy build-up, due to its build-up compensation feature. This ensures the highest operational safety and reliability.
