Hanovia Showcasing Dechlorination and UVEO UV Technology at Aquatech
Hanovia is showcasing the latest in UV technology for dechlorination at this year’s Aquatech trade show in Amsterdam between 3-6 November.
The company will also be showing its PureLine Ultraviolet Energy Optimised (UVEO) technology. Hanovia will be located in Hall 1, Booth 01.110.Hanovia’s UV dechlorination systems provide a clean, efficient alternative to other methods, offering protection to key process equipment such reverse osmosis membranes and ion exchange systems from residual chlorine build-up and biofouling. They are ideal for hygienic applications such as pharmaceutical, cosmetics and beverage manufacturing where pure water, minimal bacterial build-up, low downtime and optimised running costs are all vital.
In addition to its dechlorination technology, Hanovia will also be showcasing its UVEO technology at Aquatech. By using less power than conventional UV systems, with just a single medium pressure UV lamp, PureLine UVEO systems deliver a guaranteed, consistent UV dose with maximum efficiency and control. All UVEO systems are provided with Hanovia’s patented ‘UVGuard’ as standard − this allows safe checking of the UV sensor (performance monitoring instrument) using a unique ‘eyelid shutter’ design, which protects the operator from exposure to UV light.
