Visitor Management Systems
Did you know that we have experience installing the entire spectrum of security systems, including Hirsch access control, InVentry visitor management systems, Honeywell MAXPRO IP CCTV, and perimeter detection systems?
Last month we installed another InVentry visitor management system for one of our educational clients. These systems digitally log visitors on a database allowing efficient management and auditing, while also automatically printing visitor cards. It’s a fantastic system that allows you to more easily manage guests while controlling public access to your establishment, as well as meet and exceed Ofsted safeguarding criteria.VM2
Visitor management systems can help improve productivity, as the entire process can be automated. Professional photo ID badges and an electronic user interface can help enhance your image. It also allows for a much more efficient emergency response, as visitors (and their locations) can be assessed much more accurately.
In an educational setting, visitor management systems can digitally manage student and staff clock-in/out times, and measure non-attendance for staff and pupils. The system can provide mobile registration and attendance for breakfast/after-school clubs, as well as record who collects the child from school.

Many of these systems allow relevant staff to manage attendance and visitors from any popular mobile phone or tablet, including initiating role-calls in the event of fire or an emergency. These systems also allow in-class registration of new students to minimise disruption at the beginning of the school year.
For higher security establishments, visitor management systems can help curtail industrial espionage and sabotage, as well as more direct action against premises.
We’d love to discuss how newer and emerging security technology can help your organisation. Give us a call on 020 8894 6229, or email us at service@gdsecurity.co.uk.
