Matchplay 2 makes its mark at Greenwood Park Tennis Club.
Greenwood Park Lawn Tennis Club, St Albans saw a complete transformation of 3 of their flagship courts when resurfacing took place by ETC Sports earlier this year.
This friendly neighbourhood tennis club has seen a dramatic improvement in their court offering when the three courts were resurfaced in Matchplay 2, artificial sports surfacing. This hard wearing alternative to natural grass offers a hard wearing and durable alternative to natural grass and gives the club the ability to play on the courts all year round. For a busy tennis club like Greenwood Park, their surfaces face a lot of wear and tear throughout the year. Matchplay 2 provides a tough and durable solution, without affecting quality of play. It meets the requirements set by the ITF and requires comparatively little maintenance compared to some other sport court surfaces.
That’s why Greenwood Park chose this particular product to provide a surface that players will love to play on, as well as a cost-effective solution for the club.
Representing the club, David Thompson commented: “The courts are proving to be so popular that now members are tending to wait for one to become free, rather than play on the other courts”
