Semi-automatic product encapsulation

As part of its Contract electronics manufacturing services, CT Production operates a semi-automatic encapsulant dispensing unit to enable fast and accurate potting of assemblies.

The process uses two-part epoxy resins and automatically mixes and dispenses a measured amount of encapsulate to where the nozzle is pointed.

The process is used at both low and high volumes for products, which operate in hazardous environments, requiring an environmental or security seal, sometimes to obscure design details.
