When Collingbourne Ducis Parish Council were looking for a new playground facility they wanted something which was eye-catching as well as offering comprehensive play value for the children in the community.

Having decided on an Adventure Ship concept, they worked with our designers to get the right mix of activities for the budget they were working with. They were particularly keen to include the exciting tube slide from the top deck as well as providing areas for social play and thoughtful time.

The resultantMega Ship was installed slightly into a gentle bank so we provided a “gangplank” access to make use of the slope.

We also used a two colour bonded mulch to create a “land” and “sea” effect for
added interest.
