The cable lab adds the BSI ROHS trusted kitemark to its credentials

Eland Cables has been awarded the BSI RoHS Trusted Kitemark™, a distinction only available to organisations that can demonstrate their ability to comply with the strict RoHS Directive.

This makes Eland Cables the only dedicated cable supplier holding this distinction in the United Kingdom, proving once more that we go the extra mile.
Kevin Chapman, Commercial Director, said: “It is very pleasing to, once again, be breaking new ground in the cable industry by securing the BSI RoHS Trusted Kitemark™. We are continually focussing on delivering quality cables and expert technical support to over 130 countries. This latest accreditation is testament to our commitment to our customers in these critical areas.”

The RoHS (The Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances) Directive restricts the use of certain hazardous substances in electronic and electric equipment.

The BSi RoHS Trusted Kitemark™ is a further prestigious accreditation for the Cable Lab, Eland Cables’ in-house specialist cable testing laboratory, which is also UKAS accredited to ISO 17025.

Our independent cable laboratory is the only UK cable supplier-owned testing facility accredited by UKAS to ISO 17025, making The Cable Lab® a unique centre of technical excellence in the industry.
