Established for over 11 years, Parker’s Food Machinery Plus Ltd are highly respected suppliers of food machinery, specialising in vacuum packaging, as well as providers of butcher’s packaging and sundries. A true family-run business − the company was set up by Barry Parker and his wife Carol − Parker’s is based in Bognor Regis on the south coast but covers the whole of the UK via its distributors.

Parker’s specialises in the supply and distribution of quality new and pre-owned food processing machinery such as Vacuum Packers, Weigh Scale Labellers & Automatic Wrappers, Sausage Power Fillers & Mixers, Slicers & Bandsaws, and Ovens. As the main UK importers/agents for New Diamond Vacuum Packers, Manconi & DEKO Slicers, Ishida Weighing Scales and Dadaux Meat Processing Machinery, Parker’s offer one of the largest ranges of Vacuum Packers in the UK.

One of the latest additions to the Parker’s range is the semi-automatic Ishida WM NANO wrapper. Winner of the Innovative Packaging Technology Award 2012, the Ishida WM NANO is the most compact, affordable table top semi-automatic in the world, with the ability to wrap 15 packs per minute. Barry added: “An additional part of our business is our extensive and competitive range of butchers’ sundries.

Our sundries range includes Butchers Vacuum Pouch Bags, Sausage Casings, Rusk, Sausage Seasonings, Professional Knifes, Dried Herbs & Spices, Butchers Twine, Poly Trays, Bags and Cleaning Products.” Parker’s attends a wide number of shows and trade exhibitions throughout the year, including both local smaller events as well as bigger ones such as Foodex.

Its most recent show attended was Meatup at the NEC, Birmingham. Barry commented: “Meatup for Parker’s was the perfect platform to engage with both new and existing customers. It gave us the perfect opportunity to show some of our latest products to a large audience. “On display we had the very latest DEKO 800SL all stainless steel slicer with lots of customer interest. Also we had the full range of Ishida retail and pre Pac scales including the 15 pack per min wrapping machine. Also launched was our Ishida UNI3 scale printer entry level along with the Ishida UNI9 professional with full 12” colour touch screens with video, once again with lots of interest and orders taken.

“It also gave us the opportunity to show our new web shop where products and butchers sundries can all be purchased online. Parker’s covers the whole of the UK though our distribution network.
