New VMC Arrives at Batchflow!

We have recently taken delivery of a new Vertical Machining Centre at Batchflow.

The ‘Prototrak’ LPM or ‘Lean Production Machine’ is a highly versatile and flexible machine tool supplied by XYZ Machine Tools.

The machine runs the same ‘Prototrak’ control as our existing 2-OP machine and also features the same ‘Ball Lock’ Fixture location system, so fixture plates can be quickly transferred from one machine to another.

As well as the compatibility to our existing machine, the LPM gives the added power and tooling capacity of a full size VMC. This machine is an excellent addition to our existing plant and provides high precision and flexible CNC Milling capacity.
