N5 tilt sensor with 360°measurement from elobau

The N5 tilt sensor with CAN-bus inerface from elobau is the latest in a range of mercury free tilt sensors, and complements the single axis N3 and the dual axis N4.

Unlike the N3 and N4 which have a horizontal/vertical measuring range, the N5 has an increased measuring range of up to 360° on a single axis or 180° on a dual axis.

Up to 4 additional configurable switching points are available, with each switching point having a selected on/off delay, and a neutral position that can be adjusted via infra-red remote control or the CAN-bus interface.

It has been designed to be easily installed in restricted areas with a flat and compact design and is robust enough for use on lifting platforms and telescopic ladders.

The tilt sensor has an IP67 protection rating, and a working temperature range of between -40°C and +85°C, and is available with either a Deutsch or M12 connector.

As the tilt sensor is based on MEMS technology, it is extremely reliable with a long service life, and the versatile nature of this sensor means it can be used in countless applications from material handling, off-highway vehicles and various industrial applications.
