Polhill Garden Centre in Kent is a family owned and day-to-day run business with over 50 years of gardening experience. When it came to rejuvenating the existing concrete and blocked paved walkways at the nursery, the client was looking for a decorative, low maintenance, permeable resin bound system that could be installed over the existing concrete and block paved areas with minimum disruption to the day-to-day operation of this busy garden centre.

Terrabase Rustic, our innovative resin bound system using a 6-10mm natural stone blend, provided the solution. The flexibility of the system enables installation across multi-surfaces to provide a seamless finish without the need for additional groundworks. A fast surfacing solution with minimum disruption!

Addagrip approved contractor True Grip Ltd was invited to install over 800m2 of the Terrabase Rustic resin bound system in a Rustic Beach blend to provide a natural looking surface to suit the environment that would be comfortable underfoot, suitable for wheelchair use and porous to accommodate the irrigation of the plants in the potted plant section of the nursery.

True Grip Ltd carried out the installation over a 2 week period to cause minimum disruption to visitors and staff.
