Opulent Historical Site Receives the NatraTex Look

When Bath Spa University needed to establish new footpaths at their Newton Park Campus they chose to use NatraTex Cotswold. Bath Spa University is steeped in architectural history. With Capability Brown having designed the grounds in the 18th century, the city of Bath itself was made a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987.

The Michael Tippett Centre is housed at Newton Park, the main campus at Bath Spa University. This centre is the only purpose-built concert hall in Bath that hosts a busy schedule of public concerts. It’s here where NatraTex Cotswold has been established along the pathways providing students with a safe walkway throughout the campus.

The understated tone of NatraTex Cotswold compliments the ornate buildings and surrounding area.

NatraTexis not a resin bound or bonded product but instead shares similar characteristics to that of conventional macadam, being laid at the same depth and with sub layers (base and binder course). This results in a multipurpose surfacing material that would be perfect for use on highways, footpaths, playgrounds, MUGA, cycle ways etc. NatraTex is virtually maintenance-free and maintains its colour for a long-lasting finish. This smooth surface is also much safer than other alternatives as it is resistant to cracks and potholes, preventing any trip hazards.
