Colourful, Decorative Surfaces Create Inspirational Learning Environment

Ryecroft Middle School and Dove First School were both relocated to a purpose built facility on a single campus, where they both officially opened their doors to pupils in September 2016.


The school was designed by Glancy Nicholls Architects who were tasked to preserve both schools unique identities whilst housing them on the same site. Both schools are linked together through communal gathering areas, located centrally for ease of access to both schools.

NatraTex supplied 500m² of its NatraTex Cotswold material for the multi-use games areas (MUGAs), footpaths and communal spaces.

NatraTex Cotswold retains its natural colour by using less pigment compared to its sister product NatraTex Colour. This allows for a lasting finish that remains colourful and durable.

NatraTex is fully bonded hard landscaping material and not a resin. Although, it shares similar characteristics with conventional macadam and laid the same way, being laid at the same depth with sub layers (base and binder course).
