#StandUpForHealth with COBA Europe

We are all being advised to stand more and sit less in the workplace for better health. Anti-fatigue matting specialists, COBA Europe Ltd has published an e-book on this subject.

Entitled #StandUpForHealth, the comprehensive publication examines the problems of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and other health conditions associated with occupations that regularly require prolonged sitting or standing.

While highlighting the seriousness of the problem across many different industry sectors, #StandUpForHealth also features some useful guidance on how to reduce the risks to make standing a safer, and an altogether more comfortable experience.

Published alongside this, are the findings of scientific research conducted at Land Rover and at Loughborough University, as well as the results of a survey carried out by COBA Europe on Standing in the Workplace. In the case of the latter, some 75% of respondents found anti-fatigue matting to have a positive effect on the wellbeing of staff, of which some 54% said it had helped to reduce pain and serious health complaints.

The e-book, which is available for free download at www.cobaeurope.com, is being supported by a social media campaign #StandUpForHealth.

COBA manufactures and supplies one of the largest ranges of anti-fatigue matting in Europe. Headquartered in the UK, the company also has sales offices in Germany, France, Slovakia, Poland, Italy, Russia and South Africa.
