Paxton compact metal keypad is vandal resistant

The UKs'' leading manufacturer of access control products, Paxton Access, have introduced a brand new vandal resistant compact metal keypad.

The Vandal resistant compact metal keypad has been developed following feedback from Paxton'' installers. Offering an all in one solution, the keypad is perfect for use on outdoor gates and barriers and has a neat compact design with all control electronics being built into the housing, which means that installers do not have  wire to a separate control unit.

The Vandal resistant metal keypad controls an access point via a powered lock output and volt free relay contacts. This allows the control of gates and barriers with no need for additional relays. The keypad also has a new voltage range of 12-24 V AC/DC, meaning that no extra power supply is needed when fitting to gates and barriers.

The tough keypad really stands up to abuse in areas where knocks and scrapes are inevitable. It is IPX7 rated and therefore ideal for use in all weather conditions. On top of all this, the keypad panel is back-lit for simple night time operation.
