Solco Pyroelec - November 2019 Newsletter

Solco are proud to announce the roll-out of our new range of SMART electronic digital thermostats starting with our SMART-ECO Trace Heating Thermostat.

The SMART-ECO air/surface sensing thermostat is designed to provide user friendly measurement and control for SOLCO PYROELEC heating cables. The thermostat has a 20A control relay and a 2A SPDT BMS fault alarm relay. Parameter and eventual alarm conditions are shown on the digital display and settings can be programmed easily.

The SMART-ECO thermostat is supplied with an NTC thermistor type sensor probe. This has a 3m long cable giving freedom to locate the electronics remotely from the sensor. Two M20 entries allow for the power cable and safety relay cable to be connected directly into the unit. Two M25 entries allow up to two heating cables to be connected directly into the unit. The units can be wall mounted or pipe mounted (using our pipe support bracket).

Supply voltage 100Vac (min.)
− 270Vac (max.), 50/60 Hz
Load current (max.) 20Athermostats starting with our SMART-ECO Trace Heating Thermostat.

Coming soon will be the second controller in the SMART range, which is the SMART GUARD. This is for the FIRE SPRINKLER market and will allow for two separate heating circuits. We will also soon be launching a heating cable especially produced for this market. The design and manufacture of this cable is unique and revolutionary.

More information to follow in our next newsletter so watch out for that.
