Recommended strategies for employers to use now:

All employers need to consider how best to decrease the spread of acute respiratory illness and lower the impact of COVID-19 in your workplace.

• Place posters that encourage cough and sneeze etiquette.
• Ensure hygiene posters are at the entrance to your workplace and in other workplace areas where they are likely to be seen.
• Instruct employees to wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds regularly − use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
