JCS announce a new Alpha/Beta Contamination Probe

We are pleased to announce the new Scionix thin Alpha/Beta SiPM Scintillation detector with a built-in temperature compensation & preamplifier.

Zinc sulphide ZnS(Ag) is a solid performing material for alpha contamination measurements and used in combination with a plastic scintillator material also allows Alpha/Beta discrimination measurements, and thus for beta measurements by discrimination.

The use of a Silicon Photomultiplier (SiPM) allows for a huge reduction in the size of the overall detector.
