Concertina Multifold partitions achieve their objective in school project.

A Hertfordshire school wanted to change the way the area adjacent their entrance foyer could be used, introducing more flexibility.

Concertina Folding Partitions worked with the client to develop a suitable solution which was a bottom rolling, end pivoted Multifold system.

The bottom rolling system has the weight carried on a slim floor track, which removes the need for new structural steel to be installed at the top of the partition to carry the weight- thus eliminating the cost and disruption of the steelwork. This approach works very successfully in existing buildings.

The end pivoted configuration meant that the panels would stack neatly out of the way and not encroach into the main thoroughfare through the foyer.

The Client was delighted with the installation and sent an email saying ‘Just a quick thank you to you and your team, a fantastic job excellently executed, very happy with the end result’.
