Communic8 becomes Motorola Solutions Two Way Radio Partner.

Whilst nobody can deny 2020 has been a challenging year for every form of business, especially with us usually supplying so many events.

We have been able to bring out some good news with our expansion and accreditation on the two way radio side of our business.

Towards the end of last year, we looked to advance our 2 Way Radio services. It has been an area of the business that has always shown growth but being so far West in Wales we noticed there was not many “official” options when it came to radio distributors. With us supplying so many sectors ranging from general customers looking to rent walkie talkies for 1 day shows or events through to commercial companies such as RWE and General Electric who depend on mission critical communications for national infrastructure work.

Motorola is a brand that is known around the world. Whilst many people associate it with mobile phones, there is no doubting the fact that when you mention Motorola. It is a brand that people instantly know and trust. With us deploying both basic two way radios and also more complex Motorola MOTOTRBO systems including Linked Capacity Plus and Capacity Max. It made sense for us to invest time and money in going further up onto the radio ladder tree.

When did we become a Channel Partner?
Towards the end of Q4 2019 we were extremely delighted to have been approved as a Motorola Solutions Channel Partner. To date, we have been distributing both hire and sales of radio equipment to users around the UK.
What does this mean for the end user?.

Ultimately it gives us a better end service that we can deliver to customers. Not only can we offer far better and more competitive pricing with our sales turnover but also it means we have direct level technical support if we need it. Aside from pricing and technical support we can deliver service plan packages for new two way radios and provide two way radio repairs for a host of Motorola radio equipment. Everything from repeaters to handhelds and base mobile radios.

For us to be approved as a Motorola Solutions partner just shows our commitment to a trusted brand and also our commitment to providing great customer service. It becomes very difficult to achieve the partner status and to maintain that level of operation. Being such a small company we’re delighted we can now provide a better end user experience to customers right across West and South Wales without them having to venture further afield to Bristol, Birmingham or Manchester to a national company.

We have already attend Motorola partner events to see new walkie talkies, technology and ideas that are in the pipeline plus we have engaged in direct calls to Motorola to work on new projects including deploying a new mission critical LCP − Linked capacity plus system for national infrastructure security. We’ve been very fortunate to also be one of the first companies in the UK to deploy Motorola WAVE as part of an integrated 2 Way Radio system.
Motorola Wave is the latest technology which allows LTE or 3G/4G operation on a walkie talkie using mobile phone cells as the network giving customers a wide area radio system. We have been able to combine this technology into mission critical LMR or Land Moblie Radio. The ability to combine what is in effect a mobile phone into a VHF radio system gives us total flexibility to provide to our customers.
