Communic8 New Line of Radios with a Range of Push to Talk over Cellular Radios

The latest technology in the world of two way radio is push to talk over cellular.

There are many names for this type of tech including LTE Radios, PTToC and Broadband PTT. Essentially they are all the same form of communication.
PTToC gives two way radios the ability to operate on a sim card and use phone masts to communicate, usually via a central server. This is generally provided by the distributor of the radio if you are using one of their systems. The ability to communicate on one of these types of devices means you can potentially talk anywhere in the world. There is a lot of use by radio amateurs with these radios using the likes of Zello and Echolink to talk to other amateurs across the globe.

Bringing things closer to home, we are continuing to expand our range of PTToC radios. We now have stock of both Motorola WAVE and also Telo two way radios plus with our TYT Distribution rights we plan to bring in their IP-58 Poc Radio.
What are the benefits of POC Radios?

The advantage of these forms of radio give most customers the ability to have wide area radio communications without the need to install large infrastructure including the likes of large antennas and repeaters.
Having a radio like these gives taxi companies, logistics and haulage companies the ability to track vehicles with GPS locations and send job tasks with ease. We have our own reliable dispatch system that is available and can provide couriers or transport companies with the ability to track vehicles and send locations to customers with up to date tracking that is live. Many companies already pay for GPS tracking on vehicles but this often can be expensive. We can combine your communications and tracking for no additional cost.

Do I need a sim card?.

Yes, is the short answer. If you plan to use these radios anywhere other than on a desk, using Wi-Fi then you will need a sim card. We have some great prices for sim cards to allow you to get up and running straight out of the box.
250MB Sim Card: £2.50 per month plus VAT
500MB Sim Card: £5.00 per month plus VAT
We would recommend the 500mb sim card if you would like to send data such as video or photo over your radio network. This could include proof of delivery photographs during COVID or drivers giving you a photo of an incident they come across. Perfect for utility companies who are out in the field.

What are the options?.

We have a range of handheld and mobile (in vehicle) radios to choose from. We offer all of these radios on either a hire basis or for purchase. Bulk order discounts are available if you plan to install these on a fleet of vehicles or users.
