Let’s hope 2021 sees a return to a more normal life for everyone. In the meantime, we hope you are safe and keeping well. As we start 2021 we thought we would update you on our latest addition, the new MacBook 13’ Pro − launched in November 2020.

The Apple MacBook Pro 13’ are phenomenal devices, they herald the start of a new era for Apple as it introduces its own M1 chip (which we’re reliably told has 16 billion transistors) for the very first time. The M1 chip integrates 8-core CPU, 8-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine into one micro-chip. The M1 chips bring significant speed and efficiency improvements to make it Apple’s fastest machine to date. We are expecting the Intel MacBook Pro models to be slowly be discontinued in the future and replaced with updated models that are equipped with Apple’s M1-series chips.

We were excited to finally receive our MacBook Pros and have not been disappointed. They look great (as always) and the 13’ Pro is a perfect size and weight for all your everyday needs. The team at Tablet Rentals has always enjoyed hiring MacBooks to our clients and we know these latest batch of Pros will be incredibly popular whether for a short or long-term MacBook Pro hire.

A brief synopsis: The MacBook Pro is still an aluminium rectangular-shaped retina device with Magic Keyboard. There is a Touch Bar (which is a small OLED retina multi-touch display built into the keyboard where the function keys traditionally go) at the top with touch-based controls and an incredibly impressive 20-hour battery life along with an enhanced HD Facetime camera with better noise reduction.
