Servaclean helps Oaklands Wedding Venue Reopen in style

During the pandemic, Servaclean worked alongside Oaklands Wedding Venue -The Grand Lodge to provide a brand new under counter bar servery for the unique wedding venue set in the heart of East Yorkshire and situated within 200 acres of beautiful woodland besides a picturesque lake.

Servaclean’s Managing Director, Andy Royston, worked with proprietors Linda and Mike Artley to design a bespoke, functional and efficient bar to meet with the venue’s requirements. Our team then manufactured and installed our ‘BARFrame’ system within the Grand Lodge, and supplied all the refrigeration.

The Servaclean team were first contacted by Linda and Mike in July 2019 as they looked to replace the existing ‘Wedding Tipis’ with the Grand Lodge and improve their bar counter facility. Servaclean’s brief was to design a bar counter, which allowed them to serve high end cocktails, have a back of house facility and provide a slick table service operation for up to 200 guests. Following approval of ‘The Grand Lodge Bar Counter and Remote Glasswash Facility layouts’ and a pre-installation site visit in Feb 2020 an unexpected delay, due to the global Covid 19 pandemic, occurred causing temporary closure of the site in March 2020. During the lockdown, we continued to work with Linda and Mike and in May 2020, following relaxation of government restrictions, Oakland’s Wedding Venue was Servaclean’s first installation adhering to Covid 19 protocol. Unfortunately, it was a longer wait than anticipated for the venue to open and they were finally able to hold their first wedding in June 2021.
