Children & Device Protection
Over the last nine months we have discussed cyber security on numerous occasions. Unfortunately, cyber criminals have significantly ‘upped their game’ due to COVID-19 and this month, we compiled a blog discussing how to keep your children’s devices secure.
Do you pay for school devices?
Today, many schools take monthly payments for iPads and similar devices to be used solely for school work. Should the school become compromised, sadly, so will your personal information such as credit and debit card details.
Increasing device security;
One of the best things you can do as a parent or guardian is teach your children about phishing emails. Particularly prevalent in the education sectors, phishing can lead to data theft and not be recognised until a number of years later. To find out more about keeping your child’s devices safe and secure, take a look at our blog, https://lanesystems.co.uk/back-to-school-device-protection/.
Remember, you can stay up to date with all the latest cyber threats via our Twitter account, @LaneSystems.
