Carrs Welding achieve EN14001 environmental standard.

02 December 2021 | Carrs Welding Technologies Ltd

Carrs Welding achieve EN14001 environmental standard.

Carrs have been assessed for the quality standard ISO9001, and have held it for many years (since 2006) and its sets a level that we work at for repair or production welding.

In 2020 Carrs decided to go for the environmental standard in response to our overall responsibility to the planet. We feel that repairing metal items by laser welding and making good, is a good start, but wanted to go the extra mile.

Carrs demonstrated to the auditors that we have made strides to reduce our carbon footprint, by using electricity suppliers who make renewable energy, we have trained our staff in good practices and even asked our clients to recycle packaging and use the most efficient ways of transport.

Bit by bit, Carrs are making small steps to a greener future. EN14001 proves we are on that Journey, and will have to continue to better ourselves each year to keep it.
