Introducing the iPhone SE 2022

For all you iPhone Hire fans who love leasing iPhones from us, we have another iPhone to soon add to our collection.

On the 8th March Apple had its first launch event of 2022 and a new iPhone was introduced to the world. Whilst Apple’s flagship Phone launch was last September when Apple launched the iPhone 13, the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max − all of which are the flagship devices of Phone Hire and have been used by hundreds of customers, Apple have now released an updated version of the iPhone SE.

The iPhone SE 2022 is a smaller device, similar to the incredibly popular iPhone 8. The iPhone 8 was launched in 2017 and it remains an exceptional iPhone device. The iPhone which still runs on the latest IOS (15.4) has proved to be incredible value for money as well as small, handy and convenient.

With this design in mind, Apple has continued to appeal to those users who are not looking for the larger screens or the latest camera / video functionality to the iPhone SE 2022 is similar in design to the revamped iPhone SE which was re-introduced in 2020.

At Phone Hire, we have loved the iPhone 8 and the SE 2022 is also a 4.7-inch screen smartphone which will attract plenty of users. However, the iPhone SE2 2022 is a significant upgrade on the iPhone 8 and it is good Apple has resisted making too many changes to the iPhone SE 2020.

First, the look and feel is pretty much the same (thin and light body) and no need for a 3.5mm headphone jack which the iPhone 12/13 range requires. The camera is still decent with a 12MP rear and a 7MP front, but where the iPhone SE 2022 stands out is in its power. The SE 2022 has a A15 bionic chip, which you’ll find in the iPhone 13 range. The A15 bionic chip will allow users to indulge with intense heavy gaming as well as edit and shoot film in 4K.

Is the iPhone SE 2022 worth it? Certainly, it is a great iPhone for its size and the battery life is an impressive 12 hours. It is £419.00 and sticking with Apple’s environmental commitment, there’s no charger (or wired headphones) with the purchase, so you’ll need to budget additional amounts for these.

As ever, the team at Phone Hire will have it available and look forward to assisting those who may require it on a short or long term basis. We stock all the latest iPhones to hire and users can hire iPhones through our website, email: info@phone-hire.co.uk or by calling us in person (0207) 686 7345.
