Further announcement about price increases
At the end of Last year we announced that we were being forced to consider price increases on our products and shipping due to unprecedented global circumstances.
We increased our shipping rates but at the same time also introduced some new shipping methods to offer more competitive shipping costs for smaller order values and quantities. At the end of February, we further revised our shipping options to simplify and reduce our shipping charges further, bringing shipping costs down lower than previously and our minimum order for free UK mainland shipping down to just £75 (£35 for selected local deliveries). We feel we are offering the most attractive shipping rates in the business and your feedback has confirmed that you agree.
PRODUCT INCREASES - Although we previously announced 'imminent' price increase across our product range, we have worked tirelessly to minimize the impact of these and so far we have absorbed most of the increases forced upon us by our suppliers and by other factors. However, as we are all too aware increased pressures, including the damaging effects on the global economy caused in the main by COVID, together with the horrific conflict in Ukraine, have resulted in massive increases in raw material costs, freight and other factors outside of our control. Sadly, therefore, we have no alternative but to increase our prices.
It is some years since we had a general price increase across the range and we have delayed the inevitable for as long as we can, but from the beginning of next week, that's week commencing 16th May 2022, our prices will go up! We will, of course continue to try to keep these increases to a minimum and to absorb increased business costs wherever possible.
