Boundary fencing
Harborne Cricket Club was founded on 4th May 1868 and is one of the largest in the Midlands.
It is an accredited ECB Clubmark club and enjoys the status of an amateur community sports club (CASC) with quasi-charitable benefits.
The Club has a very healthy playing membership − fielding six league teams on Saturday.
Damon Willetts, head groundsman contacted Radford Ezy Net to ask if we could assist with their Boundary fencing on one of their grounds. They had a somewhat damaged pole and pulley type system consisting of numerous poles and cables holding netting in place and was only 5m above ground high.
We recommend removing the old and replacing with a system that the nets could be moved across tensioned cables and even totally removed as the system is demountable. What’s more across a span of 62m there are only 6 x 6.5m poles
The system is taller, easier to manhandle and aesthetically more appealing and the Club are delighted with their investment
