"Spill Kit Range"
It is vital to have the correct spill kits and equipment available in a workplace where there is a risk of spillage, and or, pollution onsite.
They are required to be on hand in case of an accidental spill so that the spill can be quickly and safely cleaned up, alongside trained staff to be able to competently respond to a spill. It is fundamental to have a site spill response plan in place that will deliver in the event of an incident.
We offer a comprehensive range of spill kits including maintenance, oil selective, chemical, body fluid and AdBlue spill kits to allow you to respond to all eventualities.
Maintenance Spill Kits − This type of kit is designed for water-based liquids and hydrocarbons alike. These kits use grey absorbents to make for the most effective way of cleaning up the aforementioned spillages.
Oil Selective − Using white absorbents, the oil selective kit is designed to clean up oil and fuel, and other hydrocarbons. These absorbents float on water, making for a more effective clean up of hydrocarbons.
Chemical / Hazmat − As the name suggests, this kit is designed only for use on hazardous materials, such as corrosive acids and solvents. These kits use yellow absorbents for easy identification.
AdBlue - These are Spill Kits specifically designed for dealing with AdBlue spills and leaks, helping you conform to PPG 7 9.1 Emission reduction solutions (ERS). If they get into the environment, ERS can seriously pollute groundwater and surface waters. It's important that they are stored, dispensed and handled correctly. ERS are soluble in water and should be kept out of surface water drainage systems that discharge to the environment. It will not be removed in an oil separator so it's important to isolate the ERS dispensing area drainage from the surface water system to reduce the possibility of spills and drips causing pollution. If this isn't possible, your site management systems should make sure any spills of ERS are cleaned up immediately with proprietary sorbents.
Body Fluid - Total incident clean-up kits designed to enable full response to incidents involving bodily fluids including blood, urine, vomit, faeces etc. Each kit includes all necessary items to enable swift clean-up.
In addition to the spill kits, we offer a range of absorbent products including pads, socks, booms and pillows.
