Static Waste Compactors

Static Waste Compactors

Seen here is a Kenburn Select static waste compactor being installed on a manufacturing site in the North West.

[Static Waste Compactors] As one of the UK’s largest facilities for commission dyeing for military uniforms worldwide, this customer has recently installed a KS250 static waste compactor for their general waste.

Reduce your waste management costs

With a 5:1 compaction ratio, installing a static compactor has significantly reduced their waste management costs compared to loose waste in a 40 cubic yard skip and at the same time reduced on-site vehicle movements for exchanging an empty skip for a full one.

Static compactors offer a quick changeover

Static waste compactors are ideally suited to handling large volumes of waste and because the container is swapped over once full, there is minimal waiting time between changeovers.

Unlike a portable unit which is taken away for emptying, with a static compactor, the press unit is fixed in position and a roll-on roll-off skip (container) where the waste will be compacted is attached to it.

Once the container is full, it is detached from the press and taken to a waste disposal site. Meanwhile, once an empty container has been attached to the press, the machine can continue to be used.

With or without bin lift

If your company is generating large volumes of waste, installing a Kenburn Select static compactor could be the ideal solution in reducing your ever-increasing skip costs.

Available with or without a bin lift, the Kenburn Select range of static compactors are available in a variety of different sizes to suit the volumes/types of waste you’re looking to compact.
