The nature of their manufacturing process creates waste off cuts of thermoplastic polyurethane film and Bond a Band sought a solution for compacting these waste streams. They contacted Kenburn Waste Management Ltd who are the sole UK dealer for the Europress range of Balex baling machines.

Due to their exceptional build quality, the Balex range of balers come with a unique full parts and labour warranty for two years. They also have GSM technology, so any accidental operational errors such as pressing the emergency stop button can be detected remotely without the need for an engineer call out cost. The entire range of five models from 10 to 50 tonnes of compaction force come with two pressure settings, one for cardboard and one for plastic.

The plastic mode can also be adjusted to compact various types of soft and rigid plastics, so with thermoplastic polyurethane, the compaction cycle can be programmed to create heavy dense bales by slowing down the compaction cycle time.
