Recovering waste heat from the refrigeration process

The goal of heat recovery is to capture the waste heat from the refrigeration process and convert it into hot water.

Fabdec have pioneered this technology in stainless steel for decades, producing vessels for all industries in our UK manufacturing facility.

SPAR-HEAT is a durable stainless steel cylinder with double-walled spiral heat exchangers designed to recover the waste heat in a safe and efficient manner, generating hot water at temperatures of up to 60°C.

Immersion heaters can then boost it up to 85°C. SPAR-HEAT boasts market-leading insulation and requires little if any maintenance as there are no moving parts. It comes with either a plastisol outer cladding or a stainless steel finish for outdoor use.
