Trotec to present high speed laser cutting at the Print Show 2023

Print businesses visiting The Print Show taking place on 19-21st September at the NEC, Birmingham will have the opportunity to find out how laser cutting technology could transform their print finishing workflow.

Market-leading manufacturer Trotec will demonstrate the latest in laser cutting and engraving technology for the print, signs and display sector. On stand A40, the laser manufacturer will carry out live demonstrations on a range of laser systems to suit different business budgets throughout the three-day event.

The 2023 show marks the return of the market-leading Speedy 400 flatbed laser. With 120 watts of CO2 laser power, the Speedy 400 is eight times faster than comparative laser systems, offering a highly productive tool for laser cutting and engraving. Also at the show, the smaller Speedy 300 flexx, equipped with dual CO2 and fiber laser sources, offers diverse processing capabilities, allowing for business diversification and additional products, namely those made of metal, to be laser etched without the extra cost of an additional machine.

The 2023 show also marks the debut of the Q400 mid-range laser cutter. A budget-friendly solution, the Q400 offers 100-watt CO2 laser power, perfect for cutting acrylics and woods up to 15mm thick. The added Vision Print and Cut camera will be particularly interesting to businesses in the print industry who are looking to combine print with laser processing, making it even more appealing to print businesses who are looking to invest in their first laser cutter.

Alongside the range of laser cutters and engravers, Trotec will display their range of proprietary engraving materials during the three-day event. Featuring laser-optimised acrylics, two-ply plastic laminates, woods and metals, many products are suitable for printing, allowing for perfect synergy between print, material and laser.

Registration for the Print Show is free of charge. Trotec will be on stand A40 at The Print Show, NEC Birmingham between 19th-21st September 2023.
