IT Removals/Desktop Relocation

Whether you need to relocate a few employees or move many more, OMI provide a dedicated IT Project Manager to ensure that the process is made seamless and, as with all our services, provides the minimum of downtime for your company.

De-commissioning

This important function is the most common to our commercial/office moves.

Our specialist IT Team will phase the disconnection and reconnection of your desk tops and our service includes the checking of machines for labels to ensure the correct convention is used, removing cabling from the network as well as all networked devices and peripherals.

The PC and monitor will be protected during the move by anti-static wrapping materials or covers.

Re-commissioning

At your new location our IT team will check the positioning of the PC relating to your provided plans and reconnect the PC to the network and peripherals

If required, our IT team will patch in the network cable to the appropriate patch point on the floor or to the wall, following a patching plan.
