Néos Automotive and transitioning into QFS Manufacturing
Six months ago, we embarked on a bold new journey, acquiring Néos Automotive and transitioning into QFS Manufacturing, a name that pays tribute to the legacy of QFS Technologies. As we celebrate this milestone, we''re humbled by the progress we''ve made and immensely grateful to those who''ve joined us on this adventure.
What a ride it has been! The last half-year has been a whirlwind of growth, innovation, and determination. Our team, customers, and suppliers have weathered the storm of administration with us, and your unwavering trust and support have been integral to our success. In this short span, we've taken significant strides. We've successfully developed, launched, and manufactured an astounding 138 new top-level part numbers. This includes everything from our first 5mm Copper component, produced off our Amada Ventis laser, bespoke extrusion tooling and components to a Cross Car beam assembly, an intricate design consisting of 55 individual components that leaves our Project Director twitching when mentioned.
But it doesn't stop there. We've been investing in our future, adding an array of capabilities to our portfolio, such as Robotic Mig-Welding, Robotic Spot-Welding, CNC High-Speed Turning Centre with Barfeed, and a 500L Circular Bowl Deburrer. These investments exemplify our commitment to delivering an extraordinary customer experience, providing innovative design and production solutions to meet the diverse needs of our customers, no matter the complexity.
Beyond the machinery, our most valuable asset is our workforce. We've taken steps to foster the growth of our team, sponsoring an employee's degree through the Open University, ensuring industry leader certifications in robotics, and welcoming three new engineering apprentices with the support of MakeUK. With plans to onboard a fourth apprentice soon, we're paving the way for the next generation of engineers at QFS Manufacturing.
As we gear up for the future, we're excited to have all our vehicles branded and on the road by October/November. Plus, we're in the final stages of developing our first production assembly of our Robotic weld cells.
We're thrilled to continue this journey, growing alongside our customers and suppliers. We're here ready to serve and look forward to furthering our shared success. Here's to the next six months − and beyond!
Stay tuned for more updates and thank you for being a part of our story.
