Apple, please improve this for next year − it would have been quicker for us to pop into Selfridges and buy them!

So, has it been worth the wait?

There is absolutely no doubt about it; the new 48MP main camera on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max simply outshines the 12MP one on the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. The difference between the 24MP and 12MP default modes is clear. The brightness and contrast on photos viewed on an HDR display are extremely impressive, and the level of detail in bright light is phenomenal, as is the fast and pinpoint autofocus. Furthermore, video stabilisation, again an important component for our creatives, is exceptionally good.
