LAMILUX launch brand new CPD for 2024

Our brand new CPD seminar “SPECIFYING COMPLIANT, SUSTAINABLE AND ENERGY-EFFICIENT ROOFLIGHTS AND GLASS ROOFS” provides a clear overview of considerations when specifying rooflights for your projects.

The CPD covers insights including safety measures, codes of practice, benefits of introducing natural daylight and more. The CPD lasts about 60 minutes and covers relevant subjects, meeting the following learning objectives:
  • Understand the benefits of designing buildings for natural daylight
  • Understand relevant standards and regulations when specifying rooflights
  • Understand how to and the importance of specifying non-fragile rooflighting solutions
  • What is an EPD and what are the benefits of specifying a product with EPD verification
  • Gain an understanding on thermal efficiency rooflight designs and the benefits of a thermally broken product
  • Identify the importance of watertightness testing and the risks and problems of not choosing a certified rooflight
  • Appreciate various interfaces and upstand options including insulated kerb base options and renovation projects using existing builders kerb
  • Recognise various ventilation options and incorporating access within a rooflight
To book a face-to-face learning lunch CPD we will happily attend your offices to meet in person and present our CPD to your team. If preferred, we offer an online CPD virtually delivered on Microsoft Teams, or your preferred video conferencing platform, where we will present our live seminar in a way that suits your practice.

LAMILUX designed, manufactured, and installed a range of rooflights, smoke ventilation solutions and roof access hatches to the main atrium, theatre, and staff offices of the educational building.
