Plastic Float-Valve PVC-U

The ball float is connected to a lever arm that is attached to a valve stem.

As the water level in the tank rises, the ball float rises with it. This causes the lever arm to pivot, which in turn closes the valve stem and stops the flow of water into the tank. When the water level falls, the ball float descends, which opens the valve stem and allows water to flow into the tank again.
