Life Saving Skills Everyone Should Have

Every company needs to have a fully trained first aider in the workplace.

This ensures that if there is an injury in the workplace, the injured individual can get immediate attention. First aid skills are also usable in everyday life, not just in the workplace. Training provides the individual with information that can save the lives of family members and friends.


What can Safety for Business offer?
We provide a 1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work course. This is held at our Premises in Letchworth Garden City throughout the year. There is also an option to have training conducted at your own premises if there is a suitable training room space available.

On completion of the course delegates should be able to:-
Understand the role of a first aider including reference to:
• The importance of preventing cross infection;
• The need for recording incidents and actions;
• Use of available equipment

Assess the situation and circumstances in order to act safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency;
• Administer first aid to a casualty who is unconscious (including seizure);
• Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation;
• Administer first aid to casualty that is choking;
• Administer first aid to a casualty who is wounded or bleeding;
• Administer first aid to a casualty that is suffering from shock;
• Provide appropriate first aid for minor injuries.
• Understand how to use a defibrillator safely.

Do you need Emergency First Aid at Work training?
Our Emergency First Aid at Work training cost £95 + VAT per person or you can have training done at your site, please email to enquire about the cost.
