Environmental Street Furniture’s Award Winning Sustainability Excellence

As a result of their outstanding efforts in providing transformative and sustainable outdoor furniture options to their clients, Environmental Street furniture have been awarded and shortlisted in multiple award listings across a number of various categories surrounding sustainability, innovation and contributions towards public sector projects.

Kicking off their recent winnings, ESF were proudly awarded with the Federation of Small Business’ (FSB) Northern Ireland Regional Sustainability Award. This award acted as a reflection of ESF’s consideration and commitment to providing sustainable and environmentally friendly street furniture options with their efforts doubling over the last 12 months as they introduced their recent Wombles Collection By ESF − an environmentally friendly selection of outdoor furniture. Crafted with inspiration from The Womble’s motto to: Recycle Reuse and Rethink, this range of furniture acts as the perfect solution for any business looking to reach their ESG goals.

The most recent accolade received by ESF includes the Business Eye Sustainability Awards as they were shortlisted as finalists in the following categories: Innovation in Sustainability, Major Project of the Year, along with ESF CEO Alan Lowry being nominated as Sustainable Business Leader of the year. On Thursday 9th June, senior members of the global furniture suppliers attended and accepted their award for innovation in sustainability, dedicating their success in this triumph down to a recent project which targeted their efforts to integrating solar and wind technology and recycling plastic into outdoor furniture.

With high expectations for future recognitions, ESF have recently been shortlisted in the Irish New’s “Workplace & Employability Award” for the Best Sustainable Business Award. With the awards commencing on Thursday 6th June, Environmental Street Furniture will be hoping to receive a third sustainability award in the space of three months! In addition to this, Sperrin’s Sculptural Trail, a previous public realm project with considerable contributions in seating and cycle parking options supplied by ESF, has been selected as a finalist for the 2024 Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Northern Ireland Awards. Contributing to the surroundings of these innovative artworks, ESF were delighted to learn that the breathtaking trail was shortlisted in two categories: Community Benefit and Public Sector Project.
