Bursali Towels Rebuild Kicks Off with New Production Facility!

Building work is well underway at the NEW Bursali Towels HQ.

Since the devastating fire in December 2023, Bursali Towels has been tirelessly working to rebuild their business.

Not only did they have to replenish all stock and machinery, but they also had to locate a new premises − a challenging task.

Their previous location was 25,000 square feet, making it difficult to find a comparable space that was affordable and well-located. Daily searches and numerous property viewings returned few suitable options.

Eventually, they found a 9,000 square foot property with adequate height for racking. Although smaller in floor space, the racking allowed it to be a viable option.

With keys in hand, tradesmen were brought in to measure and quote for necessary building work. Despite initial progress, further delays occurred.

During this time, a better-suited property became available, offering more space, lower costs, and a better location for the team.

Now, Bursali Towels has access to their new property, and construction is underway. The production rooms are expected to be completed by the end of June, with machinery delivery and installation by mid-July. The goal is to be fully operational by the end of July.

Bursali Towels has stock of most of their ranges though, so orders are being taken. The stock is currently in a temporary fulfilment centre and expected to me moved across to the new premises mid-July.
