Lightning Safety Systems (LSS) are a privately owned company who are proud to have won a variety of industry awards over the past few years across the various disciplines of our business − fire alarm systems, emergency lighting systems, security systems and electrical (installation) test & inspection and subsequent remedial work.


LSS are based near Portsmouth but we have a network of employed engineers that cover the bottom half of the country on a daily basis.

In addition to the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of the above systems LSS also offers a 24/7 emergency call out service for all customers.

One of the reasons we have successfully grown our business is that we do not insist on customers signing onerous and lengthy contracts just to tie them in for years. Our approach is to rely on the expertise of our engineers and office staff to ensure that customers receive first class service and real value for the money they spend with us to keep them all safe, compliant and able to trade.

14/11/2024 - Lightning Safety Systems are delighted to announce that we have just completed a deal which has resulted in the company being owned by its staff! Working with expert lawyer Christian Wilson, of Spencer West, we have achieved EOT status (Employee Ownership Trust) which means the Trust own the business due to now owning the shares previously held, but now transferred by the four directors of the company, to the Trust.
