2024 has certainly been a year of challenges for business.

The election created a lot of uncertainty, then the Budget hit us hard, and now the US presidential election result is creating ripples of varying magnitudes.

Each major event has impacted confidence and we, and many of our customers, have experienced huge fluctuations in demand throughout the year, and although many are saying enquiry levels are high, and orders are coming, they're still waiting.

I've heard current demand described as a cork waiting to pop!

Well, in my experience, a good shake works wonders and hopefully, now everything that's happened this year is concluded, we can move into a period of stability and certainty, and we can all get back to doing what we're good at - getting stuff done!

Like many, we are still struggling to recruit technically skilled engineers.
Thankfully, our wonderfully loyal and experienced team are all still with us and we have enjoyed celebrating a few milestone anniversaries this year with Lisa & Bob celebrating their 25th anniversary, Ted & Mark their 20th, and just this month, I have celebrated my 30th anniversary with this wonderful business and team!

Our team is what makes us unique, and our wonderful customers being as loyal and longstanding as they are, is testament to the relationships we’ve built.

Thank you for your loyalty and continued business and as always, 2025 will see us continuing to improve our capacities, capabilities, communications, and collaborations with you.

As for our Christmas shutdown this year, we will close on Friday the 20th of December at 2.30pm but ask that any last deliveries and collections are made before 4pm on the 19th of December, thank you.

We will re-open on Friday the 3rd of January at 6am.

As always, please forgive us for not sending Christmas cards or gifts.
It is not because we don’t appreciate you but, in many businesses, they’re no longer accepted and therefore we donate the funds to our chosen charities throughout the year. These include Macmillan, Alzheimer’s Society, Cancer Research and Chiltern Dog Rescue to name but a few.

Thank you for everything and we all wish you the happiest of Christmas periods, a wonderful New Year, and a happy, healthy, peaceful and prosperous 2025.
