Shaping Futures & Brightening Christmas - Active8 Magazine
LAND is busy in the local community, partnering with two schools to support their STEM subject work and also spearheading a Christmas toy appeal in support of needy local children.
LAND - Shaping Futures and Brightening Christmas They manufacture the world’s leading non-contact temperature measurement solutions, but they are more than just a manufacturing companyLAND is a driving force for positive change in our local community. They’re committed to inspiring future generations and making a lasting impact on the lives of young people.
They continue to forge strong partnerships with local schools, including Sheffield High School for Girls and Dronfield Henry Fanshawe School. By collaborating with these institutions, they aim to ignite curiosity and foster a love for STEM subjects in our youth, no matter their background or gender.
A recent highlight for LAND was their sponsorship of the prestigious North Star Science School event, co-founded by Prof Brian Cox CBA. This extraordinary event brought together bright young minds to explore the wonders of science and technology. Sheffield High School for Girls played a crucial role in the event, leading LAND’s engaging workshop showcasing the capabilities of temperature measurement technology and discussing the science and research behind it.
By participating in such initiatives, LAND aims to empower young minds to shape the future − a future that belongs to your children, your grandchildren and many generations to come.
