Advanced MTP Pro Fibre Cabling for Improved Performance

In recent years, we have seen a rise in the use of fibre cables that utilise MPO/MTP connectors. These connectors allow users to connect multiple fibres to the network through a single compact connector.

You can find their prevalence in parallel networks that create the backbone connectivity for today’s high-bandwidth networks, capable of supporting applications such as 10G, 40G, and 100G+ Ethernet.
Now, the original MTP connector has evolved; meet MTP Pro.

What is MTP Pro?
MTP Pro is the latest version of the MTP connector from US Conec. This next-generation connector builds on the existing benefits of MTP−such as high density and improved performance−while adding greater flexibility. MTP Pro enhances the standard MTP connector by enabling quick and effective polarity changes and gender reconfiguration in-field. As a result, it helps lower expenditure by reducing the number of cables you need to keep on hand. Another improvement features a longer insertion and extraction sleeve, which relieves strain on the cable. Consequently, this design reduces the risk of damage to the ferrules and makes the connector much easier and safer to mate.

You can utilise MTP Pro connectors in trunk cables, patch cables, and breakout cables, enabling multiple fibre connections in a single cable.
