Coir Mats - Traditional and Cost Effective

Coir Mats are instantly recognisable to everyone, usually in building entrance such as offices, shops, hotels and many others. The coarse texture effectively removes dirt and debris from footwear in all weather, as many have a waterproof PVC backing.

Usually made from Coconut Husk fibres, Coir Mats have many designs including plain or with brand names and logos. Logos are cut from different colour Coir and inlaid rather than printed, so your corporate identity won’t be wiped off by wiping footwear.

Whilst Coir Mats can be used outside it’s never good to leave them constantly exposed to wet weather as the backing will prevent drainage and leave a soggy mat surface.

Coir mats can be customised with varying colours, shapes and sizes up to 2m x 5m. Our Coir Mats are 17mm thick, complying with the BS8300 Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) and don’t pose a hazard for wheelchair users, pushchairs, and trolleys.
