An alternative to eyelets
As most you us are aware, no matter how good a sheet is made it is often the eyelets becoming detatched that means you need to replace your sheet.
At Allplas.co.uk we feel its important that you are aware of the additional features we can add to a typical tarpaulin.
Eyelets as we all know are rings of metal or plastics punched periodically around the edge of the tarpaulin to put rope through to tie it down, however and especially on the cheaper woven polyethylene tarps, when they flap in the wind, the material stretches and the sheet tears and the eyelet is left on the end of the rope.
At Allplas.co.uk we offer Polehems as an alternative, a hem with a diameter large enough to push a scaffold pole through if necessary which you can then create cut outs through the hem or just use the ends, and attach ratchet straps too. This allows you to really anchor down not only the sheet but the framework its covering.
